MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 66-year-old woman who suffered life-threatening injuries in a house fire in Roberts, Wis. has died.

Authorities say Roberta Eastman was transported to Hudson Hospital and transferred to Regions Hospital, but died early Wednesday morning.

Crews were called at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday to a house fire at 61 Frank Street in Roberts, Wis. When authorities arrived, they found Eastman inside the home.

The Roberts-Warren Fire Department was able to put the fire out quickly. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation, but authorities said it doesn't appear foul play is suspected.
