MONTICELLO, Minn. (WCCO) – Usually, WCCO viewers are putting meteorologist Chris Shaffer “On the Spot.”

Luke was watching WCCO’s 6 p.m. weather report with his girlfriend, Ally. But this wasn’t just any old forecast.
“I was just like ‘Hey look, it’s our picture!’ And she was like ‘Oh, that’s so cool!'” Luke said.
Ally told WCCO that she had a feeling something was up because Luke seemed excited all day.

“Then I got down on one knee and I asked her,” Luke said.
Ally happily accepted Luke’s proposal!
She has to go back to Colorado for a month to finish school, but you can bet Luke will be right there in Monticello waiting for her.
