Minn. Lieutenant Gov. To Reveal Political Plans

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Minnesota Lt. Gov. Yvonne Prettner Solon says she's made up her mind about whether she'll run again with Gov. Mark Dayton this year, but won't announce her decision until next week.

Prettner Solon says she's meeting with Dayton on Monday to talk about her decision. In previous interviews, the Democratic lieutenant governor has said she was undecided about whether she'd join Dayton on the ticket again.

Dayton has said it was her decision. He tapped the former state senator from Duluth to run with him in 2010.

Prettner Solon said in an interview last year that she and Dayton did not speak regularly. But she said Thursday that she's proud of the work she's done in the office.
