Wild Players To Wear Camouflage Jerseys Saturday

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Minnesota Wild players will wear camouflage jerseys during pre-game warm-ups Saturday when the team hosts the Colorado Avalanche.

The player-autographed camouflage jerseys will then be auctioned off online to benefit the Minnesota Wild Foundation and Defending The Blue Line.

Defending The Blue Line is a nonprofit organization created by a group of National Guard soldiers in Minnesota. The charity helps families in all branches of the military with the costs of hockey, such as registration fees, free equipment and summer hockey camps.

The auction starts Wednesday, Jan. 15, at www.wild.com/camo and ends on Sunday, Jan. 26.

The Minnesota National Guard will be the presenting partner for Saturday's game. The puck drops at 7 p.m. at Xcel Energy Center.
