South High School Student Gets Perfect ACT Score
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Minneapolis high school senior has done something rare. William Ibele got a perfect score of 36 on his ACT test.
Ibele is in theater at South High School, and he wants to study theater in college.
He got the perfect score on his third try at the ACT test.
"It's not a common score. Most kids get around 28, 29, that's seen as a good score," he said. "Just being in the 30s is really, really good but a 36? I was surprised."
Ibele has applied to six colleges, including the University of Minnesota, Kenyon College, Lawrence University and St. Olaf. He is already taking some classes at the U of M.
He said half of his friends are proud of his test score, and the other half are giving him grief.
