Movie Blog: Philip Seymour Hoffman Week At St. Anthony Main

If you haven't paid your cinematic respects to the late Philip Seymour Hoffman, Minneapolis' St. Anthony Main Theatre has pretty much the perfect opportunity to do so.

Over the weekend, the theater will give free admission to screenings of The Master and Capote to anyone dressed as a Hoffman character, a theater spokesperson said.

Not only that, but three times this coming week -- Feb. 14-20 -- the theater will have surprise free screenings for anyone within earshot of Main Street.

And, depending on how many people show up to Saturday night's 7 p.m. Capote screening, the theater says it will host a little acting competition. In it, volunteers from the audience will help perform three of Hoffman's most memorable scenes, and a gift will go to the volunteer who throws down best.
