Mpls. Driver Killed In Lewiston Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 33-year-old from Minneapolis is dead after colliding with a construction truck on Highway 14 in Lewiston, Minn. Thursday morning, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The state patrol says the construction truck was traveling eastbound on Highway 14 near the Lewiston Country Club when the other vehicle, a Chevy pickup heading westbound, crossed the center and struck the construction truck head-on.

The driver of the construction truck, 71-year-old Donald Fabian of Lewiston, suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The identity of the deceased victim will be released when family members are notified.
