Hockey Moms Sought For Reality TV Show

MINNEAPOLIS (AP/WCCO) — A Minnesota-based television production company is hosting an open casting call for hockey moms.

McCally-Lee Entertainment is seeking hockey moms from across the Midwest for its idea about a reality TV show called "Hockey Moms."

CEO John McCally says the company is looking to find "lively and charismatic mothers in the region" for the show, which is in early development.

"Maybe there's two, maybe there's three hockey moms we follow around, we don't know we just have to see how this works out." McCally said.

McCally says "unique hockey families with unusual circumstances" also are encouraged to apply.

He said you must be committed to the process.

"The cameras are going to be following you around, not only at the rink, but at home, and people need to consider that." He said.

The company says it's looking for real people — not actors. People can apply online at the company's website — http://www.mccallylee.com — until April 24.
