Local Music Tap: U Of M's Spring Jam Lineup Announced
There's nothing quite better at shaking off the winter blues than fresh music and a celebration of the warm weather ahead.
The University of Minnesota's Spring Jam provides exactly that, and their lineup has just recently been announced!
The massive three-day event kicks off on Thursday, April 24, and features a variety of music genres – both national and local. The acts include country vocal group Gloriana, alternative rockers The Mowgli's, Minnesota-based Poliça, Leagues, Earl Sweatshirt, Mod Sun and Mac Miller.
Tickets are already on sale for the event closer, Mac Miller, with openers Earl Sweatshirt, Mod Sun and the Battle of the Bands winner.
In addition to music, there will also be other fun activities, including Trivia Night, a BBQ, a Mississippi River clean-up, The LEGO Movie showings and more.
