Police: Two Found Shot Dead In Car In Mpls.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A man and a woman are dead, officials say, following a Friday night shooting in south Minneapolis.

The Minneapolis Police Department says the shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. on the 3000 block of 29th Avenue South near the Longfellow neighborhood.

When officers got to the scene, they found the two victims in a car with apparent gunshot wounds. Both were pronounced dead on the scene.

The names of the victims have not been released. Police are asking for anyone with information to text "MPD" and their tip to 847 411 (tip 411), of call the tipline at 612-692-TIPS (8477).
