1 Dead, 2 Injured After Cass Co. Chain-Reaction Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – One person died and two others were taken to the hospital from a chain-reaction crash on Highway 64 in Cass County Saturday afternoon.

According to the State Patrol, the driver of a Ford Ranger crossed the center line on Highway 64 and sidestruck a Ford F150 truck just north of Motley, Minn.

The Ford Ranger then hit a second truck head-on.

The drivers involved in the head-on crash were taken to the hospital in serious condition.

The driver and passenger of the Ford F150 sustained no injuries.

The passenger in the head-on crash died.
