Police Investigating Suspicious Death In Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Minneapolis Police said they are investigating a suspicious death Wednesday morning.

Authorities responded to the 1600 block of south 6th Street at about 2:45 a.m. on a report of a man down. The location is just a few blocks away from the site of the Metrodome in downtown Minneapolis. When police got to the scene, they found the body of an adult man. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said they are investigating it as a suspicious death. The name of the man and his cause of death have not been released. The incident is under investigation and anyone information is asked to call Minneapolis Police at (612) 692-8477.
