Tanker Truck Overturned In Apple Valley

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Traffic is a little slow-going near County Road 42 and Pilot Knob Road in Apple Valley, Minn., after a tanker truck rolled over, spilling fuel.

Authorities say the accident happened around 7:40 a.m. on Sunday. The driver of the tanker was not seriously hurt.

The tanker was carrying fuel, some of which dumped out onto the road. Crews have been working to clear the area and clean up the spill.

The clean-up is causing some delays in the area.

Police say they are still investigating what caused the tanker to rollover.
