1-Year-Old Falls From 11th Story Window In Mpls.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 1-year-old child is in the hospital after falling 11 stories from an apartment building Sunday night, according to authorities.

Police say the young boy fell around 10:12 p.m. Sunday and was immediately transported to Hennepin County Medical Center.

The boy suffered severe injuries and is currently in critical but stable condition.

Police say the boy's father was nearby when they arrived on scene and told officers that he fell out of the window.

The boy's identity has not been released.

Minneapolis Police are investigating the case.
