Man Left Paralyzed After 2013 Shooting Dies

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A man who was shot in 2013 has died due to complications from the gunshot wood.

Larry Jones, 41, was shot on Nov. 4 in the 2000 block of Irving Avenue North.

According to police, Jones was a passenger in a car when the shooting took place. Witnesses of the shooting said it may have been drug related.

Jones was left paralyzed as a result of the shooting and died Saturday.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner ruled the death a homicide.

Homicide investigators have now been added to the open case.

At this time no one is in custody and no suspects have been identified.
