MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Lightning is responsible for injuring a woman at a baseball tournament and starting a house fire in two separate incidents Saturday afternoon in Ham Lake, according to the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities received reports of lightning striking a 48-year-old woman at 2:45 p.m. at Lions Park at 155th Avenue and Central Avenue during the 2014 Blaine Classic Tournament.
