MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota Lynx guard Lindsay Whalen has been named Western Conference Player of the Week.

Whalen opened the week with a season-high 22 points, including a key jumper in the final minutes of a Memorial Day win against the Chicago Sky. Whalen added 19 points, pulled down five rebounds and handed out three assists as the Lynx beat San Antonio at Target Center on May 30.
