Security Flaw Affecting TweetDeck
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Twitter says that if you use Tweetdeck, you should log out.
Late Wednesday morning, Twitter said a "security issue" affected Tweetdeck and encouraged users to log out. Later they tweeted that they are taking down Tweetdeck services to assess the security issues.
According to reports, it appears a security flaw in Tweetdeck has allowed a third-party source to hijack and force accounts to retweet.
Tweetdeck is a social media dashboard application that helps users control multiple Twitter accounts.
