MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Fire ripped through two homes in the metro early Saturday.

A fire in Andover happened on the 13000 block of Martin Street, according to Andover Fire officials.

The homeowner reported the fire just before 3 a.m. The family was able to get out of the house safely.

There is no word on how the fire started.

A family was also forced out of their home by a fire in the middle of the night in Bloomington.

The fire is believed to have started in the basement of a home at 86th Street and Xerxes Avenue.
