Friday Featured Food Truck – Green And The Grain

With so many new — and delicious — food trucks hitting the streets of the Twin Cities each summer, it's almost too tough to keep up. Well, fear not, we're here to help. Here's this week's Friday food truck feature!

A new, healthier food truck option has sprouted for downtown diners – Green and the Grain.

Green and the Grain offers, well, exactly what you'd expect.

Salads and wraps make up the majority of entrees, all of which are made with fresh, organic ingredients.

"Our most popular salads are probably the berry," Green and the Grain's Tiffany Hauser said. "We also have a buffalo shrimp salad that seems to be very popular."

The berry salad comes with baby spinach, blueberries, strawberries, apples, Craisins, chicken and a balsamic dressing.

But even healthy eaters like a sweet treat at the end of a meal too.

Green and the Grain solve this with their organic frozen yogurt from California, topped with fresh berries.
