MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A young man’s body was pulled from Lake Phalen in St. Paul Saturday night.

Ramsey County officials say the call for help came in around 8 p.m. after the man went missing.

A short time later, he was pulled from the water.

It is not yet known why he was in the water, or what caused him to go under.

Since heavy rains began falling on Minnesota, the DNR has warned swimmers and boaters that waters are dangerously fast and high.
