Augustus To Miss Lynx Game Against Storm
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Lynx guard Seimone Augustus will miss Minnesota's game Sunday against the Seattle Storm due to bursitis in her left knee.
Augustus is the team's second-leading scorer at 17.2 points per game and has been playing through pain for the past few weeks. The injury caused her to miss the June 18 game in Phoenix.
She scored 19 and 16 points in the two ensuing games, but scored just five points on 2-of-10 shooting in the team's 81-71 loss at Seattle Friday.
