It’s called the Slingshot and it’s on debut at the Minneapolis Convention Center. It’s got two wheels in the front, one in the back; and you need a motorcycle license to drive it.
It won’t hit dealer floors until October.
Polaris dealers and their families from around the world marveled at the Convention Center Monday. Twelve-year-old Cole Focht was there with his grandmother, he posed for a photo in the driver’s seat.
“If I could have it one day I would,” Focht said.
“It’s not a car, it’s not a motorcycle. It’s something in between, but it’s awesome,” Jose Alaya, a Polaris dealer in Paraguay, said.
“It’s a 360 degree rush of sight sound and smell, that’s how we describe it.” Chris Doucet, the Commercial Director at Polaris Industries, said.READ MORE: Education Minnesota Urges Schools To Vaccine School-Aged Children
Doucet says they’re not going public with the numbers on how fast it goes.

Numbers he will talk about is cost.
“We actually got a loud round of applause when we told them it was $19,999 so we know we hit the mark there,” Doucet said.
Around $20,000 is the base price.
The vehicle sits 11 inches above the ground, there are no doors and two people can sit side by side in the unique vehicle.MORE NEWS: ‘It Was Very Much A Shock To Us': Allina Phillips Eye Institute To Operate In Different Location In 2022
