Timberwolves Announce Summer Caravan Schedule
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minnesota Timberwolves announced Monday their plans for the annual caravan that will hit various parts of the state.
The Timberwolves Caravan will hit the road on Wednesday, Aug. 6, and start at Owatonna High School. They'll then hit Apollo High School in St. Cloud on Aug. 7 before finishing the caravan at the Eau Claire YMCA in Eau Claire, Wis., on Aug. 8. All three events will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
The caravan will be headlined by Corey Brewer, Ronny Turiaf and assistant coach Ryan Saunders. They'll hold free basketball clinics as part of the caravan, which are open for kids ages 5 to 16, and Timberwolves mascot Crunch will also be on hand.
Turiaf is not scheduled to be at the caravan appearance in Eau Claire, Wis.
