MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Training camp is well underway for the Minnesota Vikings in Mankato. The team has had three practices so far, and had their first workout in full pads on Sunday.

The Vikings will have their first night practice in full pads Monday, and it will likely be in front of a packed house at Blakeslee Stadium from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Minnesota State University, Mankato. There hasn’t been a ton of big news out of the first days of training camp, other than Matt Cassel being named the No. 1 quarterback and Cordarrelle Patterson missing afternoon practices due to a foot injury.
