Gender Determined Of Burned Body Found Near Dumpster

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis Police are a step closer to identifying a badly-burned body found Thursday evening near a dumpster on the city's south side.

Police say the victim is male, but they'll likely have to rely on dental records to fully identify the victim.

A couple walking near 39th Street East and Snelling Avenue spotted a fire in a dumpster.

Crews found the body nearby after extinguishing the fire.
