ME: Man, 31, Dies After Broadside Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Officials say a 31-year-old man died Friday evening following a crash in central Minnesota where he lost control of his car was broadsided by another.

Peter Anderson, of Aitkin, died at the North Memorial Medical Center, the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office said.

Anderson suffered fatal injuries in a crash Friday afternoon on Highway 47 near Isle.

The State Patrol said he was driving south when he lost control of his Toyota Camry near Vista Road, and an on-coming Buick Riviera smashed into the side of his car.

The Buick's driver, a 60-year-old McGrath woman, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
