MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The annual Harvest Fest is taking place in Stillwater, Minn., this weekend.

The event is known for their massive pumpkins and this year was no different.

Visitors could take part in a number of pumpkin related activities, like the giant pumpkin weigh off, the pumpkin regatta and the pumpkin drop – where people can drop a pumpkin from a 100 foot crane.

There’s plenty of other family fun as well.

There is a kid’s costume parade, a chili cook-off and live music all weekend long.

Stillwater’s Harvest Fest is an entirely volunteer run community event.

This year, money raised will go toward local nonprofits as well.
