4 People Injured In Cottage Grove Limo Crash
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Four friends on their way to a haunted house ended up in a much scarier situation than expected.
Two cars hit their limo in the southeast metro, after it got stuck outside The Haunting Experience in Cottage Grove.
The accident happened Friday night just after 9:30 p.m., according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The limo was traveling southbound on Highway 61 and was making a left turn onto Kingsboro Trail to enter Zywiec's Haunting Experience.
Cottage Grove Police say the limo bottomed out near the northern entrance of the attraction. Soon after, a Dodge Avenger traveling northbound slammed into it.
A third car also traveling northbound tried to avoid the wreckage but also struck the limo.
Four of the 11 people in the limo were taken to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, with injuries ranging from minor to critical.
The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating.
