Man Dead In Two-Vehicle Crash In Chisago County
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - A man is dead and two others are hurt when two vehicles collided this morning in western Chisago County.
Investigators haven't said what caused the crash.
One of the drivers, Darrel Praska, 66, of North Branch, died.
The other driver, James Gibbons, 44, and his passenger, Barbara McCollum, 36, were flown to Twin Cities hospitals with serious injuries.
The two vehicles collided near the intersection of Lincoln Trail and Kost Trail in Lent Township.
The Chisago County Sheriff's Office and the Minnesota State Patrol are investigating.
Lakes Regions EMS, Stacy and Lent First Responders, North Memorial Air Care and Life Link Air Care assisted at the scene.
