Turn Leftover Apples To Hard Cider In St. Louis Park

ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. (WCCO) – This fall brought us a great apple season. So much so, that many of us have lots of excess apples!

If you have leftovers and are tired of peeling them for pies, grab those apples and head to Midwest Supplies in St. Louis Park Saturday.

From 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. you can crush and press your apples to make cider for free.

And if you're looking to take it a step further, you can turn it into hard cider.

The process is a relatively easy one.

First, you crush the apples.

After you crush and press your apples, the fermentation process begins.

Then the cider is brought home. Once at home, add yeast and wait at least two weeks.
