Survey: Minnesota Ranks 13th Nationally For 'Sugar Daddies'
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – When it comes to women looking to date rich men, one poll suggests Minneapolis is one of the top cities in the country for "sugar daddies."
According to a recent poll done by SeekingArrangement.com, the world's largest dating web site for "sugar daddies," Minneapolis is one of the most popular cities nationally. The city ranks No. 13 among the top 30 North American cities to find a "sugar daddy."
The study shows Minneapolis as having 6.33 "sugar daddies" for every 1,000 men that currently live in Minneapolis. Atlanta tops the list with 19.64 "sugar daddies" for every 1,000 men. Vancouver is second with 13.02, Orlando is third at 12.52, San Francisco is fourth at 12.23 and Las Vegas rounds out the top five at 11.68.
Three places where you're least likely to find a "sugar daddy?" Miami, New York and Los Angeles. They each have less than three "sugar daddies" per 1,000 men living in the city.
The web site considers "sugar daddies" as a man who is successful, generous and willing to provide a certain lifestyle for a young, attractive person in return for friendship or companionship. According to the survey, the average "sugar daddy" is about 44 years old and has a net worth of more than $7 million. He spends more than $4,000 per month on the person he is seeing.
