Taylor Swift Bringing '1989' To St. Paul In 2015

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Here's some news you won't want to shake off, and try not to look too surprised. Country-pop superstar Taylor Swift is bringing some "1989" realness to the Xcel Energy Center in 2015.

Swift, 24, is booked to perform back-to-back shows at the "X" on Sept. 11 and Sept. 12.

Her 1989 World Tour kicks off in Louisiana next May, and will hit a number of venues throughout North America and Europe before heading to Australia.

Swift, who if you haven't figured it out by now was born in 1989, is currently the youngest person to ever win the Grammy award for album of the year, and has racked up more digital music sales than any artist in history.

Among Swift's biggest crossover hits are her latest smash "Shake It Off," as well as "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," "You Belong with Me," and "I Knew You Were Trouble."
