MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — While it was too warm Wednesday for flakes to fall in the metro, parts of northern Minnesota saw snow accumulate on lawns and windshields.

Near Baxter, the snow was heavy enough to leave a coating on the grass. Around Bemidji, snow showers fell for most of the afternoon and evening. One WCCO viewer sent in photos from Park Rapids, showing an accumulation of about 2 inches.
