4-Month-Old Puppy Battles Rare Esophagus Disease
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Starting life in a high-kill shelter in Texas is not the only adversity 4-month-old Dutch Shepherd Rocky has endured.
Rocky has battled pneumonia, an eye ailment and is living with a rare condition – megaesophagus.
Megaesophagus is a swelling of the esophagus which causes Rocky to regurgitate his food.
But, a special hand-made chair allows Rocky to keep his puppy chow in his tummy.
Ruff Start Rescue, Rocky's new home, also needs funding to treat four puppies sick with Parvovirus.
