MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Before Black Friday, get some green gifts at the Green Gifts Fair!

From vintage jewelry, to local honey, to crafts like bird feeders, there are items from over 80 artists.

Plus, there will be demos on how to reduce waste and your impact on the environment.

“There are lots of different ways that you can wrap gifts through reusable tins, boxes, newspaper. And there’s also a demo we’re going to have called ‘furoshiki.’  It is a Japanese style of wrapping gifts with one square cloth is 20 different ways,” executive director Ami Voeltz said.

Everything gets started at 10 a.m., and goes until 5 p.m. Saturday at the Midtown Global Market in Minneapolis.
