CBS Radio Joins MOA, Nickelodeon Universe In 'Ride For A Cause'
MINNEAPOLIs (WCCO) – CBS Radio Minneapolis and Mall of America are inviting shoppers to 'ride for a cause' this Thanksgiving holiday.
Families are invited to Nickelodeon Universe, located in the center of the mall, to enjoy unlimited rides from 6 p.m. until midnight for a $10 donation.
Proceeds will benefit Folds of Honor, a nonprofit that provides scholarships and financial assistance to spouses and children of military members who were killed or disabled while serving.
"The 'Ride for a Cause' event is a first-of-its-kind for Mall of America on Thanksgiving, and adding this charity component to our patrons' Black Friday shopping experience seems like a natural fit for the holiday," Jennifer Lauerman, senior marketing director for Mall of America, said in a recent press release.
Folds of Honor has awarded 7,500 educational scholarships since its inception in 2007.
