Judge Rules Maranatha Leader Must Return Property To Fmr. Members

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A Houston County judge has ruled a religious leader must give back two properties to a couple that left his group with nothing.

The court fight between Karl and Suzanne Solum and Tom Tollefsrud has played out for years in Spring Grove.

The Solum’s spent 30 years in what’s known as Maranatha Ministries.

But, when they left the group Tollefsrud said their house and the business Karl built belonged to the group.

A judge disagreed Wednesday and said the Solum’s are entitled to that property.
