MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Several workers unions in the Twin Cities are planning to kick off a series of strikes and protests on Black Friday, one of the busiest shopping days of the year.
Reports say there are plans for demonstrations outside of Home Depot, Best Buy, Kohl’s, Target, and Sears.
Workers from Walmart also plan to hold similar demonstrations at stores across the country. It’s said that workers will be striking and walking off the job.
The main issues for workers are wages, benefits, and lack of hours/being overworked.
