MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — An East Bethel home is in ruins after it caught fire Saturday night.

Officials say firefighters were called to the home at around 10:30 p.m. following a report of an explosion in the home’s attached garage.

The fire destroyed the garage before spreading to the house.

A man and his two adult children lived there, but they were not home at the time of the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
