Klobuchar, McCaskill Make Bet On Citrus Bowl

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota has made a friendly wager with Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill on the Citrus Bowl game.

Klobuchar is wagering her signature "frozen" dessert hot dish against McCaskill's offering of Buck's Tiger Stripe ice cream.

The Minnesota Gophers take on the 16th-ranked Missouri Tigers in the New Year's Day bowl game in Orlando, Florida.

Klobuchar says she's looking forward to celebrating a Gophers victory with some Missouri-made ice cream. McCaskill responds that the Tigers are going to perform so well that "the poor Minnesota Gophers are going to wish they'd never poked their heads out of the ground."
