Power Restored To 4,300 Customers In East Twin Cities

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Over 4,300 customers lost power in the areas of Oakdale, Maplewood and Lake Elmo Tuesday morning.

According to a spokesperson with Xcel Energy, 4,376 customers were without power for three hours, beginning at 5:47 a.m.

The outage was due to a downed power line, although the reason the line was down is still unknown.

Crews were able to restore power at 8:54 a.m.
