MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The Stillwater bar that had what WCCO viewers chose as Minnesota’s best summer drink has just earned another honor — this time, it’s national.

Now, Smalley’s was featured on the Food Network’s new show “Best. Ever.” The show is hosted by Ted Allen, formerly of “Chopped,” “Food Detectives” and “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.”READ MORE: Driver Hurt After Fiery Crash On I-94 In St. Paul
The show cited Smalley’s Caribbean Jerk Chicken dish as being the “Best. ‘Reggae Worthy’ Chicken Ever.” According to the Food Network, in the episode chef Antonia Lofaso praises the authenticity of smoking whole chickens using Jamaican Pimento wood chips, and saucing it with three different options including Scotchies, which Lofaso said is a traditional sauce used by Jamaicans.
