Lake Harriet Hosts The Winter Kite Festival

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Colorful kites will take to the skies in Minneapolis Saturday as part of the Lake Harriet Winter Kite Festival.

Bring your own kite to the north end of the lake, or buy one there, and let it fly.

Or watch and learn from the pros flying stunt kites.

The Festival runs from noon until 4 p.m. near the Lake Harriet band shell.

There's no charge for the event and open to all ages.
