Minneapolis Convention Center Hosts The Wedding Fair

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Whether you're newly engaged or just about ready to walk down the aisle, the Wedding Fair has some great ideas for planning the big day.

DJs, photographers, caterers and florists will all be at the Minneapolis Convention Center Sunday.

"So, what we hear from brides and grooms is that, when they come here, they can actually meet with people instead of being behind a computer screen and not really knowing who the company is, who they're meeting with. It's such an emotional day. When you get married you want to make sure that you're working with people you trust, that you get along with," executive producer Betsy Steele said.

There will also be a fashion show with wedding dresses and tuxedoes.

And Steele promises a few surprises, too.

The Wedding Fair will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

Tickets at the door cost $10.
