MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Bloomington Police Department has released the identities of the police officers involved in fatal shooting of a 24-year-old man.

On Jan. 15, Bloomington police were called to the 9900 block of Briar Road just after 11 p.m. on a report of a suicidal person. When officers arrived, they accounted an armed, white male outside the residence.

Authorities said the scene moved to the 5800 block of West 99th Street, where shots were fired. The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene. He was later identified as 24-year-old Quincy Reed Reindl of Bloomington.

On Wednesday, the police officers involved were identified as officers Jeff Bailey, Mike Perron, Mike Smith and Anthony Kiehl. They were all placed on a paid administrative leave for 3 days, which is routine practice.

The medical examiner said the man's manner of death is pending further investigation and his cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds.
