MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A Newport woman pleaded guilty Friday to third-degree murder in the methadone-overdose death of her husband in 2013, according to the Ramsey County Attorney’s office.

Forty-four-year-old Jennifer Marie Johnson is accused of injecting her husband — 32-year-old Dennis Parmuat — with a fatal dose of her methadone in the early morning of March 30, 2013.
