2 Early Challengers In Kline's 2nd District

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -- Minnesota Rep. John Kline will see challenges from both sides of the aisle if he chooses to run for re-election in 2016.

A vice president at a medical device company and Kline's challenger in the 2014 Republican primary both announced Monday they will run for 2nd District seat. The district covers the south Twin Cities metro area.

Angie Craig is vice president for global human resources at St. Jude Medical. The company says she'll step down next month to run.

David Gerson lost the Republican endorsement for Kline's seat last year. He's worked in the private sector for more than two decades.

A Kline spokesman did not immediately return a phone message seeking comment.
