Health Department Continues Survey On Medical Marijuana

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Potential users of medical marijuana have about one week to participate in a survey that could help the state get a picture of the likely demand for the drug.

The Minnesota Department of Health has been conducting a voluntary survey of prospective medical marijuana patients since Jan. 20. The survey closes Friday.

The survey asks potential medical cannabis patients several questions about their conditions, their likelihood of participating in the program, and their location in the state. Any Minnesotans with potentially qualifying conditions are invited to participate.

As of Friday, the health department said it had received nearly 700 responses so far.
