Wis. Authorities Seek Help Finding Escaped Sex Offender

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Officials in northwestern Wisconsin are asking the public's help in finding a convicted sex offender who escaped an emergency housing unit.

The Sawyer County Sheriff's Office says Kenneth Anderson absconded from the housing unit and removed his GPS tracking bracelet.

His was convicted of first-degree sexual assault of a child under the age of thirteen.

Anyone with information of his whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff's office at 715-634-5213.
